DESCRIPTION:From the creative pastures of Glasgow’s music scene Shepton ArtBank welcome acoustic performances from both Snowgoose and Eugene Kelly (The Vaselines) whilst on their UK co-headline tour.\n \nSnowgoose are a folk/psych duo consisting of songwriters Jim McCulloch (The Soup Dragons, Isobel Campbell and BMX Bandits) and Anna sheard. Together they craft a niche sound that feels both warmly retrospective and boldly new.\n \nIn October they release and tour their third album, “Descendant” inviting us into a place where the complexities of human emotion are laid bare against a backdrop of melodic beauty.\n \nSnowgoose have consistently garnered praise for their musical depth and emotive songwriting. Uncut Magazine described their earlier work as “spellbinding,” while The Scotsman praised Anna’s vocals for invoking “the spirit of Sandy Denny, a soothing instrument no matter what sorrow she is imparting.”\n \nDoors open at 7pm.\nPlease note, due to licensing laws, no under 18s after 9pm.\n
