SUMMARY:Clay Seed Pods Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join artist Becci Landrock on this fun 2 hour workshop using clay to create poppy seed heads.\nCome and enjoy two hours of clay fun, learn a new skill creating poppy seed heads and enjoy a free slice of cake and hot drink at the Art Bank Cafe!\nYou will be shown how to mould the clay into shape then by using different sculptural tools you will turn the shape into a beautiful seed head hopefully your be able to make a few different size ones within the time.\nThe seed heads can be placed on poles in your garden afterwards as an architectural feature or just on a table top they are very tactile.\nAll materials and firings of the clay is included lthough you will have to return to the Art Bank to collect your finish items 2/3 weeks later once they have been glazed in the kiln. Colours of the glaze will be discussed on the course.\nThis workshop is part of a series inspired by the forthcoming exhibition ‘The Wizard of Woz.’\nThis session will be held in the Art Bank. Please use the hand gel provided and wear a mask until you are sitting down.\nWe look forward to welcoming you!\n
