Meet The Coat Of Hopes

We’re excited to welcome The Coat of Hopes to The Art Bank as it passes through Shepton Mallet on its pilgrimage across the country.

The Coat of Hopes is a remarkable community artwork: a patchwork coat made, worn and walked by many people, carrying messages of hope, care and concern for the climate and the places we call home.

Join us at The Art Bank to hear the story of this amazing journey, meet some of the people walking with the coat, and share in its message of hope for the climate through creativity, art and song.

The coat will be travelling from Westfield to Shepton Mallet that day, and there may also be the chance to join the walk for a while the following day as it continues on towards Glastonbury.

Date: Thursday 2 July
Time: 7pm–8.30pm
Venue: The Art Bank, 13 High Street, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5AA
