Join artist Becci Landrock on this fun 2 hour workshop using clay to create poppy seed heads.

Come and enjoy two hours of clay fun and learn a new skill creating poppy seed heads.

You will be shown how to mould the clay into shape then by using different sculptural tools you will turn the shape into a beautiful seed head hopefully your be able to make a few different size ones within the time.

The seed heads can be placed on poles in your garden afterwards as an architectural feature or just on a table top they are very tactile.

All materials and firings of the clay is included lthough you will have to return to the Art Bank to collect your finish items 2/3 weeks later once they have been glazed in the kiln. Colours of the glaze will be discussed on the course.

This workshop is part of a series inspired by the current exhibition ‘The Wizard of Woz.’

This session will be held in the Art Bank. Please use the hand gel provided and wear a mask until you are sitting down.
