Led by artist Melissa Whiteley, this weekly session is all about creativity without judgement. Bring along any project you’re working on — painting, sketching, knitting, writing, collage, or something totally unique — and enjoy creating in good company. There’s no set task, no right or wrong, just a chance to make time for yourself and your imagination.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned artist, you’ll find inspiration, encouragement and plenty of tea. Each week, Melissa offers gentle guidance, prompts and tips for anyone who’d like them, while others simply use the time to work on their own projects in a calm, creative atmosphere.

Creative Buds is the perfect mid-week reset — a moment to pause, play and connect. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, inspired and part of a growing community of makers in Shepton Mallet.
